Added Value of VPC

Accredited Voluntary Product Certification as complementary to CE-marking of construction products leads not only to harmonized testing but also to shorter procedures to deliver products abroad, lower costs, enhanced product quality, fitness for the end-use in the local situation …., so:

1. Shorter procedures to deliver products in different countries with (local) quality marks
2. Lower costs of building process and reduction of on-site inspections
3. Value for money; justified confidence in product quality
4. Total access to the international market (=free circulation + permit to build)
5. Meeting the local requirements and fitting the historical, cultural situation and common knowledge in the individual member states
6. Market driven (and no political instrument), etc.
